Recap for the valentines
Let’s start off by talking about how good and fun the Valentine’s Day Mixer was. According to the reports received from Student Life department, we had a good amount of people who attended to SGA’s colorful event. We had wonderful conversations over variety of drinks, and some good food–and yes, the chicken was warmer this time. Those who don’t get the joke, don’t feel bad. It’s an inside joke.
Some of you played pool and some played table tennis while we were walking around the Student Lounge to meet each and every one of you… As you already know, we hunger for your feedback, and we hope that with every new post of GGU Social, you’ll feel a lot more comfortable to engage with us and let us know how you feel about your blog. It’s flattering to hear good feedback from our community, and we’re hoping to keep you entertained throughout this journey.
SGA and GGU Social thank you for attending to 2016’s Valentine’s Day Mixer, and hope the that you enjoyed it as much as we did! Keep an eye out for our next gathering!

Towards the end of the month, we’ll have an interesting networking workshop called Networking for Introverts. Regardless of what you consider yourself–either an introvert or an extrovert, you will find this workshop interesting and acquire some valuable takeaways from the session!
After the Networking for Introverts workshop, we’ll see a week of serenity on campus. Starting the second week of March, we’ll be looking at two events that are worth paying attention to.
Now, we know that you like sipping on your drinks while listening to DJ Mondee B. doing his magic, however, Golden Gate University’s Office of Career Planning will be hosting a major professional development event that you will not want to miss!
