It’s that time again…
…Midterms are here! It’s the time where the library seats are full during the week, and the coffee consumption is at its peak.
Wednesday is usually the day of events at GGU Social, however, knowing that you will need to spare more time on your readings and writings rather than spending your energy on keeping track of the events that are taking place on the campus throughout these couple of weeks, we wills briefly talk about the university resources before mentioning a couple of events that you need to keep an eye on.
The University Library
There are two sections of Golden Gate University’s library. The main section of the campus library is called the Business Library, and it’s located on the 1st floor of the campus building. The Business Library is where the main library desk is located. This is the library where you can exchange ideas with your friends and where most of GGU’s students are stopping by for their quick studies. The second section on the other hand is called the Law Library, and it’s located on the Plaza level. The Law Library is purely focused on a quieter environment.
Golden Gate University’s library has resources that are available in both online and physical forms. The video above is the official orientation video that the library put together. In addition to watching the video, we highly suggest you to bookmark the link to library resources, and to the university library homepage for the times when you might feel in need of additional resources.
Dealing with stress is not always easy. Our suggestion is for you to prioritize your mental health over everything else. Make sure to plan out your day, dedicate your time to your studies, get rid of any possible distractions, but don’t forget to give yourself a break every now and then. As you get closer to your goal, treat yourself with your favorite snack, your favorite drink, or maybe just with your favorite album of all the time.

Now to the events…
This week’s highlighted event is, with no doubt, going to be Networking for Introverts, that will be taking place on campus tomorrow starting at 5:00 PM. Whether you’re an introvert or not, you will definitely find this event interesting.
Next Wednesday, we will be Marching into March with the finance focused Career Meetup event. During the month of March, we will have many new events coming up including the professional development fair, ELEVATE your career and GGU’s Spring Hike. In addition to these major events, multiple student clubs are also going to be hosting events in March.
If you would like to find out more about the events that are going to take place on GGU’s San Francisco campus in March, make sure to read next week’s #SocialWednesday post! If you missed the first edition of Five Facts on last Sunday’s post, make sure to read it here.
