This week’s featured club is Persian Professionals Club. Some of you might remember them from the Persian New Year celebration party they hosted back in March. Here’s how they define the purpose of their club:
“We are here to sponsor events that provides an opportunity for GGU alumni to meet one another; to keep all alumni in the Bay Area informed about GGU and the Persian Professionals Club at GGU; and to inform club’s members about local alumni concerns and opinions.
We aim to provide information for a International Students, especially Persians at GGU, about networking and hiring events, students course feedback in each program, scholarships at GGU and in the Bay Area, facilitate the relations between other clubs and SGA members
And also to provide the means for the selection of a Club representative to the Association of GGU Alumni who will serve as a channel for opinion and information both to and from the university; and provide a hospitable atmosphere for students prior to matriculation at Golden Gate University and throughout their years of study at GGU
This club serves its services to all the students at GGU and all students are welcome to be member at anytime.”
