“RIP Summer (4/29/14 – 5/1/14). You will be mist.”
–Karl the Fog
It’s been a sunny week so far here in San Francisco, as Karl the fog decided to take a small vacation break. On July 17th, however, it was quite foggy and a lot colder. But not enough to prevent thousands of people from participating in this year’s Aids Walk San Francisco.
Golden Gate Park housed around 20,000 people who gathered around for the 30th annual AIDS Walk San Francisco last Sunday. According to ABC 7 News, AIDS Walk San Francisco has raised over $86 million for HIV programs and services in the Bay Area since 1987, and has grown into the largest AIDS fundraising event in Northern California.
Proud time to be living in the Bay Area!
