On July 28th, GGU Psychology Association hosted a very successful social gathering that took place on the 6th floor. Students of all majors showed up to make some new friends and enjoy the club’s hospitality.

Summer Term is almost over. Which means the new SGA Elections are right around the! Today, we’re glad to announce the dates of registration for 2016-2017 SGA Elections!
Candidate registration for elections will start on August 8 and it will close on August 19.
Elections will be held from August 29th to September 11.
Once the registration is online, you can submit your application by clicking here.

As we mentioned in one of our earlier #SocialWednesday posts, the Office of Student Affairs recently teamed up with SFS Housing to provide housing opportunities to Golden Gate University students. The office just published their Housing Page under Student Life department. Click here to view the page, browse the available housing opportunities, and submit your application.
Events to keep an eye on
SGA’s volunteering event in partnership with Project Open Hand is tomorrow. If you registered for the event, don’t forget to set-up your alarm for tomorrow morning!
Office of Career Planning will host their monthly Career Meetup event with guest professionals from Associate for Talent Development and Robert Half tomorrow, right before our party. Our party does not have a dress code, so don’t you hesitate to come downstairs to the Student Lounge with your semi-formal outfit. We won’t judge.
*This month’s Career Meetup is focused on Human Resources and Industrial-Organizational fields.
On August 9th, Office of Career Planning will host another one of their brand new workshops. Resume and Cover Letter Cafe will take place on August 9th, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
