Hike, Anyone?

A couple of weeks ago, some of our readers mentioned their interest in going on a hike with their fellow Social Heads on our Facebook group. We loved the idea and decided to bring it up on the table for discussion with the Student Life department to make it possible. We published a survey in order to gather your ideas regarding your destination preference for a hike and we ask you to contribute below to help us organize a GGU Social Hike towards the end of this term!

News & Updates

As we mentioned in our last post, Wellness Resources kicked off their Mind Management Labs workshop series last week. If you would like to learn tips and tricks on stress and mind management, feel free to stop by Room 4211 on Mondays and Thursdays. The workshops do not require any RSVPs or commitment.

The department will also be hosting a Fitness Fest on October 10th for you to join and compare local fitness centers. Crunch, YMCA-Embarcadero and 24 Hour Fitness will be attending to the event.

If you would like to learn more about any of the activities Wellness Resources department hosts or have any questions regarding their services, feel free to contact them at wellness@ggu.edu.

Our Student Life department has started providing Golden Gate University students with a guided meditation in September. You can join to meditate on any–or every–Thursday throughout the term in Room 4208 starting at 5:30PM.
