Heroes of Halloween

hv2

We often find ourselves seeking for real life superheroes. This Halloween, our colleagues in SGA and Student Life have decided to be the superheroes that the brave and beautiful children who are currently in intensive care at California Pacific Center need, and organized a volunteering event to lighten up their day.

“Sandra Jimenez being a true Wonder Woman with Angel, a true Super Kid!”

The volunteer team visited the children in their rooms and spent time with them to put a smile on their faces. Our SGA team has donated bags of gifts to the children and provided the nursing staff with a delicious lunch.

Hats off to the individuals who organized the event as well as the ones that participated in this wonderful cause! Before we move on to News & Updates, we would like to deliver a few words from the VP of Community Involvement at SGA, Mohammed Khalil:

“We hope that this event will open more opportunities to bring joy into the lives of the less fortunate, and motivate other members of the GGU family to join the cause of bringing smiles to fantastic kids.”
