Our friends at SGA have hosted a Book Fair in the Business Library last week. They have collected books that our students no longer use and offered them to the students in need, and provided tables for the students who wanted to sell and trade their books.
We are proud to announce that this successful event will now be a recurring event that will take place at the beginning of each term under SGA’s administration to assist students in finding reasonable ways to acquire their textbooks. If you missed this term’s Book Fair, you can hold on to your textbooks and bring them to the next event!
Kudos to our friends at SGA, and all those who attended to the event.
News & Updates
The headliner of our News & Updates section this week is, with no doubt, our First Anniversary Party! On January 24th, 2016, we started an amazing journey that purely focused on delivering news and entertainment sourced from students and our–great–minds to bring color and fun to the student life at Golden Gate University. Whether you’re a new or returning student, we invite all of you to join us in celebrating GGU Social’s first birthday! Stop by the Student Lounge anytime between 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, grab a piece of our birthday cake, enjoy some beverages on us and DJ Mondee B’s playlist while making new friends on campus.
Repost from last week: If you are new to the community, we highly suggest you to watch the Office of Student Affairs Mini-Documentary that was published on YouTube last term.
The Office of Student Affairs’ Student Success Week: Toolkit has a couple of more sessions left. You can find the last three sessions below:
These sessions are mandatory for our international students, and we highly suggest you to attend to all of the sessions to get to know the key individuals at various departments and get yourself familiarized with the GGU Community.
