Last Saturday, we sailed away from the busy streets of San Francisco to visit one of the city’s most popular destinations, Alcatraz Island. We’ve had 20 Social Heads join us in discovering the rich history of Alcatraz. Most of us were visiting the island for the first time, which made our trip even more special.
While the stories we heard weren’t the happiest, we gathered that every single one of our readers have enjoyed their experience at Alcatraz Island. We were guided by audio tours narrated by the prisoners and guards who once was a part of the Alcatraz Community.
And, the weather was beautiful, so taking advantage of the blue skies was a given. We took many photos but the one above is our favorite.
We would like to thank all of these lovely faces for joining us in this adventure along with our friends at SGA for supporting us in organizing this fun trip.
Here’s to many more!
