If you missed last week’s #SocialWednesday, you might be wondering why our website is painted in these wonderful colors. It’s the Pride Month and these colors represent the celebration of our diversity, and we are not the only ones who are celebrating this unity.
Golden Gate University is going to join the city of San Francisco for this year’s annual Pride Parade which is less than two weeks away! Office of Career Planning’s Internship Success Panel is almost here! This panel is made up of Golden Gate University students and alumni who will offer advice about the internship search and tips about what makes for a successful internship experience. Guest students include our dear friend Lene Hegland who worked with us last year. She is currently working at Searchmetrics as a SEO and Content Marketing Specialist. Events to keep an eye on
It’s mid June, which means that the next Online Career Meetup is right around the corner! This month’s online networking event featuring Ujjwal Thapa from Wells Fargo will take place on June 16th starting at 12PM PDT. Whether you’re on campus or not, you can attend this event by clicking here.
Our very own Peter DeHaas is hosting a jazz show this Sunday June 18th from 7PM to 10PM at the Armory Club on 1799 Mission Street (in the basement). We are happy to announce that our readers who bring their students IDs to the event will only pay $1 admission fee to get in!
This is a unique opportunity to socialize and see some great improvisational music in the heart of San Francisco.
Our Student Life department is offering free guided meditation to all students every Thursday in Room 4208, from 5:30 to 6:30PM throughout the entire Summer ’17 Term. Stop by, reduce your stress and increase your peace.
*The event is a drop-in, and you can attend all or just part of the meditation.
